This is why technology is currently being imposed into the classroom with such emphasis. Rapidly evolving technology combined with seemingly unobtainable expectations in education, schools are progressing away from classes specifically for technology. Instead, it is reallocating the responsibility to other content area teachers to introduce, utilize, and incorporate into their courses. Demonstrating how students can see presentation page you have selected on their mobile devices, take quizzes, and give responses that will be shown in the presentation. Using the technology tool nearpod Adina discussed the importance of technology and gave advice on how to mitigate potential risks involved.

- Students need to sign a responsible technology form before using technology. This will hold the students accountable for their use and participation in future online work. I will implement this concept into my teaching in the future.
- The 4 c's; Communication, Critical thinking, Collaboration, Creativity, which are all skills that students need to use and develop in the classroom. With the introduction of the common core curriculum in education these 4 skills will be held to the highest priority. Technology can assist teachers in developing these skills in new engaging ways.
- With mass communication at our fingertips, there is more potential than ever before to interact with parents. There is also a higher potential for misunderstandings and making sure that email communication between teachers and parents is saved and documented for up to seven years. All communication needs to be visible to someone other than yourself. The risk of interacting with students was brought up and her advice was that in face to face meetings the door needs to be open and possibly have another professional present. If there is digital communication you should cc to the parent and administration to make sure that, again, all communication is visible to someone other than yourself.
